I’M CHASING GREATNESS


I’ve been raised by an entrepreneur and seeing a man succeed through struggle and hard work taught me an invaluable lesson: you get out exactly what you put into it. This rule has been the guiding principle of my personal and professional life since I remember myself.

I studied media production and marketing communications for three years until I was selected as one of the top students of the university to participate in an academically oriented Pre-Master’s programme Strategic Business Management and Marketing. After graduating with distinction, I have started working towards a double master’s degree in marketing at Maastricht University and Queensland University of Technology.

I combine practical knowledge and hands-on experience in media, marketing, and communications with academic insights into business research and various strategic management and marketing issues. My goal is to put these skills into practice to help companies solve important challenges in this ever-changing business environment.

Master of Business, Integrated Marketing Communications, Queensland University of Technology
February 2017 – December 2017 (Brisbane, Australia)

Master’s degree in Business with a particular focus on Integrated Marketing Communications and the role of strategic integration of the functions of different marketing communications tools in maximizing brand equity and increasing the effectiveness of the communications. The programme has been developed in close cooperation with the industry, and thus the coursework reflects the skills and competences required in the real world.

Academic Master’s degree programme combining theoretical learning with practical applications, during which students gain a solid grounding in the fundamentals of marketing and subsequently apply the knowledge in practice. Topics such as customer behaviour, long-term relationship building, value creation, and innovation management are covered and supported by the most recent methodological approaches.

Pre-Master, Strategic Business Management and Marketing, NHTV University of Applied Sciences
September 2015 – July 2016 (Breda, The Netherlands)

Based on grades, personality assessment test, & motivation top 30 students of the university were selected for the international academic pre-master’s program Strategic Business Management and Marketing, which is a bridge program designed to provide students of applied sciences with three years of academic fundamentals in a single year and grants direct access to Master of Science degree programs at SBM partner institutions, such as University of Amsterdam, Maastricht University, and others.

Management degree covering the main areas of business administration with a particular focus on mass media, marketing, and communications. Throughout the entire programme students work at the mADE Production House, an internal project-based learning environment.

Keuzegids HBO 2015 (Dutch Independent Higher Education Guide) named NHTV as the best large university of applied sciences in the Netherlands and ranked the International Media and Entertainment Management programme first in its category.

Account Management & Strategy Intern, PHD Worldwide

September 2014- January 2015 (Riga, Latvia)


As an intern in the account management and strategy department in the media communications planning agency I was mainly responsible for assisting account managers in developing media strategies for the key accounts. Some of the other things I worked on throughout the internship:

• Coordinated small-scale campaigns (e.g., Canon)
• Developed presentations and reports for various accounts
• Conducted consumer research for strategy development
• Created social media content for various accounts (e.g., Huawei)
